Running on Vacation? | Let's chat!
ohhh the age old training whilst on vacation, lets talk about it! Hear me out, I love a good 6am grind while everyone is asleep before the day gets going. But on the flip it is so important to remember that vacation has that name for a reason! I have had plenty of "time on feet" days where I am just going out and getting mileage under me but not necessarily hammering or feeling like I'm gaining much. AND THAT IS OKAY! All wins are wins and I know that recharging my battery now will allow me to stay dialed in all season long 😊

Well said! Thoroughly enjoy the "moments" be mindful of them. Go for a run, put away the watch, phone, training plan and have fun. Recharge your batteries; before you know it you will back to the "grind".

During vacation I have more motivation to run even though it’s just me having to hold myself accountable. I think it’s because I’m just so happy with vacation and I think of my run as a way to explore where I’m at!😄
